Mature, Christian Example

One statement from our Shoreline Christian School Core Beliefs and Values is, "Teachers will be spiritually mature; setting a Christian example."  From the earliest days of Shoreline Christian School, our teachers have gotten the highest of compliments!  One of the compliments we most often hear is in regard to the kind of example our teachers set for their students.  Based on years of observation, I have concluded that people, especially children, become more and more like that which they see the most.  In other words, children tend to become like the examples they have.

It is both humbling and honoring to occupy the role of one of those examples.  That is a responsibility we carry very seriously.  We work hard to be people parents want their children to emulate when they are grown. 

Let us all endeavor to be those people that provide the right kind of examples for our children!
